On September 4th Penza State University sighned an educational cooperation agreement with the leading internet and entertainment company Mail.Ru Group.
The agreement was signed by the rector of the university Aleksandr Gulyakov and the company director for universities cooperation Sergey Mardanov. The event was opened by the first deputy and deputy of the Chair Andrey Kulintsev who stressed the importance of this type of cooperation.
‘Now we have an opportunity to make it official. Signing the agreement with Mail.Ru Group will make the cooperation a meaningful and productive job,’ he said.
Aleksandr Gulyakov laid emphasis on the importance of IT education for university students.
‘IT technologies are the basics of modern life. Your company can provide our students with the cutting-edge knowledge and practical facilities for the on-site training,’ he said.
Penza State University became the seventh university to set up a Mail.Ru Group educational centre. Similar projects are working in Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Voronezh State University.
Sergey Mardanov expressed his hopes for the success of the joint project. ‘We are glad to work together with Penza State University. The joint projects will open up new opportunities for the students. They will get advanced knowledge and practical skill in IT sphere.
