Aleksandr Moor, governor of the Tyumen region of the Ural Federal District, came on a visit to Penza to look at the achievements in agri-business in the Penza region.
Ivan Belozertsev and Aleksandr Moor visited several agricultural companies - turkey growing and processing units of ‘Damate’ company, dairy processing farm of ‘Dairy Plant Penzensky’.
They also visited an innovative bio-tech company ‘Entoprotech’ in Nizhny Lomov. The company specializes in organic waste management, the plant in Nizhny Lomov produces high quality animal feeds by converting food waste. One of the by-products of the main processing is the organic fertilizer.
The daily recycling capacity of the plant is 15 tonnes of different types of organic waste - food waste, expired products, waste from food and farming industries, and others.The company currently developes the project of an advanced processing unit with the capacity of 55000 tonnes of recycled organic waste per year (150 tonnes per day).
