Programs of business support should be realized regarding the views of entrepreneurs themselves, and the measures taken should be of noticeable benefit. These aspects were emphasized by the Governor at a meeting on Monday, March 11th, 2019.
Penza region takes part in 5 federal projects in small and medium business development: “Enlargement of small and medium business’ access to financial support including concessional financing”, “Acceleration of small and medium business”, “Popularization of entrepreneurship”, “Improvement of business running conditions”, “Establishment of a system of farming support and rural cooperation development”. The total amount of grants for 5 years is 2 billion rubles. From this sum 576 million rubles will be assigned in 2019.
The Governor called upon to take into account the views of businessmen when developing program measures.
“The more discussions and questions we get from business, the better. Let us lend an attentive ear to the opinion of businessmen. Attract the Chamber of Trade and Commerce, public organizations” – he said.
Ivan Belozertsev also paid attention to the quality of trainings and workshops. The programs of national projects schedule 65 of such events.
“The funds are assigned to conduct trainings, workshops, meetings and discussions. Report me on who and how do you plan to collaborate with. These funds are dedicated to give a powerful incentive to business development. We do not need coaches who take money and give no results” – said the Head of the region.
He instructed to attract well-known businessmen with vast expertise to training sessions.
Besides, the Governor charged to organize support in districts to young farmers who participate in the “Establishment of a system of farming support and rural cooperation development” project. Managers of collective farm enterprises, registered in 2019, are given grants in the amount of 3 million rubles; agricultural production cooperatives – 4 million rubles. According to the preliminary data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Penza region, the total amount of state support to agricultural start-ups in 2019 will constitute 181 million rubles.“Managers in districts should bear responsibility for this money to bring effect” – stressed the Governor.
