Being erected in Serdobsk district, a “Rusmolko” company’s facility welcomed the Head of the region during his working trip on Thursday, August 1st, 2019.
“Serdobskoe” enterprise of “Pachelmskoe khozyaistvo” LLC, affiliated to “Rusmolko”, specializes on growing crops and dairy farming. In 2018, the enterprise took up a project of building a modern dairy factory of full cycle with the capacity of 5200 heads.
It should be reminded that “Rusmolko”, a subsidiary company of Singaporean “Olam International Limited”, is one of the largest dairy producers in Russia. The volume of the new investment program of the agricultural holding is 4,5 billion rubles.
The new investment project will be implemented in 2 stages. The first line of the factory is planned to be launched in the 4th quarter of 2019, the second line will be put into operation in the 4th quarter of 2020. At the first stage, the factory’s capacity will be 2500 heads of dairy herd; at the second stage, it will be expanded to 5200 heads of dairy herd with the total population of 10400 heads of cattle.
The program is being realized together with “Rosselkhozbank” JSC in Serdobsk district of Penza region. The new factory will enable “Rusmolko” to increase their daily milk yield from current 255 to 436 tons and achieve the gross milk yield of 160 thousand tons of milk per year.
Having viewed the facility and become familiar with innovation technologies to be implemented at the new factory, the Governor rated the project very high.
“It is the largest in Russia dairy-product factory that is being built in Serdobsk district. We thank our investors who develop agriculture in the territory of our region. The already know that if you have funds, you should invest them in Penza region. It is a trusted place with many facilities built; enterprises operate profitably here; there is a great managerial team – and our investors see the positive result”, emphasized Ivan Belozertsev.
He offered investors to consider a possibility of building a dried milk manufacturing facility in Penza region.
“This product is in demand in the Russian Federation. Why bring it from abroad? We have a confectionery cluster running in Penza region. Dried milk is required for production of ice cream and confectionery. We could provide this demand, ship products to neighboring regions and Moscow”, explained the Head of the region.
“If the investor makes a decision to create a dried milk factory, we are ready from our side to render comprehensive assistance in implementing such an investment project”, he added.
The new dairy factory will be located on the area of 67 ha. It will embrace 7 cow-houses, 4 calf-houses, a milking station, forage storages, automatic system of manure removal, power and water supply. All facilities will be tooled with modern equipment including two carousel milking halls for 80 heads each enabling to milk 1100 heads per hour.
This factory will bring to Penza region over 300 new jobs.
“Launching of the new dairy factory of “Rusmolko” will be an event of significance not only for Penza region, but for the whole dairy sector of Russia, - said the director general of “Rusmolko” Sumanta Kumar De, - it will create hundreds of new jobs, boost the development of allied industries including concentrated food production, genetic development, production of cheese and high-quality foundation for breast milk substitutes and also will be of great importance for regional development”.
The first deputy chairman of the board of “Rosselkhozbank” Irina Zhachkina highly evaluated the new facility.
“The country counts more and more examples of “smart” agriculture. The evolution of technologies nowadays makes it possible to control the full cycle of farming by means of electronic systems that transmit and process parameters of each object. The future factory is a bright example of efficient application of innovations in agriculture. Being the key financial partner of “Rusmolko” company, “Rosselkhozbank” was optimistic about the construction of the high-tech complex, where inter alia increased attention is paid to environmental protection”, she noted.
At the facility, it is planned to adopt an innovation system of calf raising from birth until 2 months. The company intends to switch to automatic systems of feeding, weighing and health monitoring of youngsters. A special technology will provide the development of high-productive herd’s genetic potential.
