Ekaterina Kovalyova, a 9th-grade student from the school named after a Hero of Russia R.A. Kitanin (Tamala settlement), is one of the prize winners of the federal stage of the All-Russian Contest of Essays. Her work “On Krylovskie paths of Zubrilovka” is written in the style of a distant tour and dedicated to the estate relating to a famous fabulist.
It is not the first success of the Tamala school. Last year, Sofya Oskina, a 10th-grade student of the same school, entered top 100 of the All-Russian Contest of Essays with her work “On the way to the scarlet flower”.
The ceremony of awarding winners with diplomas, presents, and collections of best works will take place in Moscow in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation from the 31st of October to the 1st of November 2019. The participants will have excursions prepared for them.
Reference. 90 children 4-11 grades from secondary schools of Penza region took part at the regional stage of the All-Russian Contest of Essays.
Four works from Penza region were submitted for the federal stage:
- 4th -5th grades group – Anna Kupriyanova (school № 28 of Penza, essay topic “Anklets”, teacher – Larisa Kochieva);
- 6th -7th grades group – Anastasia Taraskina (school № 75/62 of Penza, essay topic “My present and future”, teacher – Anna Grechishkina);
- 8th -9th grades group – Ekaterina Kovalyova (the school named after a Hero of Russia R.A. Kitanin of Tamala settlement, essay topic “On Krylovskie paths of Zubrilovka”, teacher – Galina Pshikova);- 10th -11th grades group – Alexander Potapov (the school named after A.V. Kalyapin of Prigorodnoe village, Serdobsk district, essay topic “The theatre in my life”, teacher – Valentina Melnikova).
