Ivan Belozertsev spoke about the need for an integrated approach to creating comfortable conditions for rural residents during an operational meeting on Monday, December 2nd, 2019.

“Today, new jobs are being created in rural areas. We see the example of Vadinsk, Spassk, Nizhny Lomov, Mokshan, Kuznetsk, Serdobsk districts that with the establishment of new enterprises with good wages, people are returning from Moscow to their families. Along with the creation of jobs, a comprehensive development of the village is necessary”, said the head of the region.

He noted that 700 million rubles would be allocated for the implementation of the corresponding federal program in 2020 in Penza region.

“Do not wait for proposals from the Ministry of Agriculture. Developing a village is the task of each head of the regional executive authority. Therefore, everyone needs to study this program and make suggestions on it. This is a solution to social issues, affordable and high-quality medical care, repair of hospitals and clinics, repair and construction of new schools, kindergartens, cultural centers. This is the most important task. Therefore, we must actively participate in the program in order to attract as much funds from the federal budget as possible to the rural territories of Penza region”, set the task the Governor.

He noted that one of the most important tasks of the program was the acquisition of housing for young professionals.

Speaking about the development of the village, Ivan Belozertsev emphasized the need for improvement. In particular, he commissioned the chief architect of Penza region Leonid Ioffe to create several standard projects for sites near new first-aid and obstetric stations, and the heads of municipalities to implement them.

“In other regions, this work is being carried out. We need to create two or three standard projects. The improvement should include a billboard for the population, lighting, comfortable benches, urns, a walking path, a place for bicycles or strollers, a neat fence, a flower bed or a lawn”, specified the Head of the region.
