On October 16, the Penza regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia (YGUR) held the grand opening of the first youth educational online forum "Tochka Smyslov" that aims at developing the necessary knowledge and skills in the current socio-economic situation in the region, involving young people in the YGUR, as well as increasing interest in the implementation of youth policy in the region. A special place is given to modern educational technologies and relevant training formats that will allow forum participants to gain new knowledge and demonstrate their skills.
Within three days, young guards will hold online meetings with our region's youth who have registered for one of the four fields: "Breakthrough policy", "Education of the future", "Digital" or "Business challenges". The educational programme is held via ZOOM from 10:00 to 18:00 daily.
On the first day, participants met online with four speakers. Ivan Krasnov, deputy head of the city of Penza, told how to make a step into politics. Also participants met Olga Izranova, the deputy of the Penza city Duma of the seventh convocation. Sergey Kapralov, the Penza Oblast Minister of Economy, and Sergey Matyukin, head of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, discussed the topic of start-ups for the "Common Point" participants. Dmitry Baklashov, head of the YGUR regional department, also shared with the audience the tips for writing a successful and relevant project.
The first educational day brought together more than two hundred online participants from all over the Penza Oblast who came for new knowledge. 30 offline participants were also present, observing the mask mandate and all the precautions established in the region. These young guards actively participated in the "Common Point" organisation and had the opportunity to meet the first day's speakers in person. The next forum day will be held on October 17 at the administration of Kuznetsk, where participants will meet with the heads and deputies of the city of Kuznetsk.
