The meeting between the governor of the Penza region and the Gasprom Chairman of the Management Committee took place in Moscow, on 11th October, 2018.
Ivan Belozertsev came up with the suggestion that Penza manufacturers develop the production for Gasprom within the framework of the import substitution programme.
‘The use of our technologies, products and services can become a mutually beneficial cooperation,’ said Penza governor.
Alexey Miller agreed to consider the proposal and promised that the working group would investigate into the suggested project.
He also praised the work in the Penza region, as all the planned works in gas infrastructure development in residential areas and business units have been successfully completed.
The gas supply provision in the Penza region is currently at 98% level. In the period from 2005 till present Gasprom has built 14 gas pipelines in the region. The volume of investment amounted to 1.3 billion roubles.
This year three new gas pipelines will become operational - in city districts Zarya, Mezhdurechye and the Neftyanik village. The project in Shuist district will be completed by the end of the year.
Moreover, the company continues survey and design works for four new gas pipelines.
