The innovative activity of the Penza companies has been measured according to the developed criteria, so as to find the best performing innovative enterprises in the region.
The measurements were conducted using three groups of criteria:
- research activity,
- resources and facilities, the ability to introduce innovations,
- realizing the innovative potential.
Fifty-six companies of the Penza region took part in the survey. The top in the list came the research and production company ‘Rubin’, with the highest index of innovative activity of 42.65.
The top ten in the sphere of technology and production include:
- Research institute of physical measurements ‘NIFI’ (with innovative activity index 41.97);
- Research institute of agriculture ‘Penza NIISKH’(38.99);
- Electronics and communications company ‘PNEI’ (37.3);
- Publishing house ‘Mayakprint’ (33.48);
- Agricultural company ‘Konopleks Penza’ (32.9);
- Prosthetics developer ‘Endocarbon’ (31.29);
- Electronics company ‘Elektromekhanika’ (29.5);
- Radio electronics company ‘Radiozavod’ (28.24);
- Electronics and communications company ‘Elektropribor’ (21.01).
The companies have proved to be leaders in the sphere of research and production. They will also take part in the federal project ‘Champions of the region’.
