The meeting between the chairman of Penza regional government and the president of ‘Iskra Industry Co., Ltd.’ Yumiko Yoshida took place on Monday, December 3rd, in Penza. The parties discussed the cooperation between the Penza based company ‘Parapharm’ which specializes in the production of health supplements and the Japanese company working in medical industry.

Nikolay Simonov said the the produce of the Japanese company is respected and well known. ‘We hope that the existing relations with the Penza producers will continue. The government of the Penza region is determined to provide all the necessary support and we want the relations between the two companies to strengthen,’ he said.

‘Iskra Industry Co., Ltd.’ largerly specializes in import-export of pharmaceutical drugs and medical equipment. The company operates on Japanese, Russian, Chinese markets, as well as in the CIS countries.

‘We do not want just to buy and sell products between the two countries, our aim is to establish a new business in this sphere. In Japan we think that ‘Parapharm’ products, namely ‘Osteomed’, is a promising product,’ said Yumiko Yoshida.

Penza company started producing health supplementsfour years ago. The production involves a number of innovative technologies, including cryotreatment. One of the company products, ‘Osteomed’, received the ‘Promising Invention’ award at the ‘100 Best Russian Products’ contest.

‘I would like to stress again, that we have great people and wonderful opportunities. I hope that the partnership between the two companies will bring its benefits at a larger scale, giving necessary help to people in Russia and Japan,’ summed up Nikolay Simonov.
