On Thursday, February 14th, 2019, the Head of Penza region had a work meeting with director general of “Cherkizovo Group” company at the Russian Investment Forum.
Ivan Belozertsev and Sergey Mikhaylov discussed questions on putting new big-feeding facilities into operation, located in the territory of Penza region. The construction of the said agricultural plants, referred to as sites № 6 and № 7, is currently in progress.
“In the course of signing of the protocol of intent we defined the location and calculated the costs of building the infrastructure for another four pig-breeding sites. As a result, there should be created at least 39 additional jobs”, - informed the Head of the regional executive power summarizing the negotiations.
“To reduce expenditures of the regional budget on the arrangement of the infrastructure we are working on involving the federal funds against the program of sustained development of rural territories”, - he specified.
Besides, at the present time there is being discussed a possibility of setting seven more feeding sites in the territory of one of the districts of Penza region. It is scheduled for implementation in 2021-2023.
Moreover, in order to support local producers it has been decided to work through a possibility to increase the supply of container boards and packing materials for the needs of “Cherkizovo Group” PJSC by companies operating in Penza region.
