On the 20th regular session of the Regional Parliament Ivan Belozertsev made a report on the Regional Government’s performance for the last term on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019.

“According to the results of 2018 the income of the regional treasury grew by 8,3 billion rubles, tax and non-tax yield – by 2,3 billion rubles or 7 %, gratuitous revenue – by 6 billion rubles” – informed the Head of regional executive power.

“The growth of earnings summed up by the most of income sources: physical person income tax, excise, tax levied through the simplified taxation system, company property tax, transport tax and state duty” – he specified.

Penza region entered the 40 regions of Russia to receive a grant from the federal budget to achieve high rates of economic potential development constituting 236 million rubles. Also, last year Penza region received 114 million rubles to ensure an increase of income through the company property tax.

According to the head of the Federation’s subject, over 64% of budget expenditures in 2018 were directed to healthcare, education, social protection, culture, physical training and sport. Financing of the production sector of the economy totaled around 20%.

The budget of Penza region was executed with a surplus of 400 million rubles.
