A business meeting of Ivan Belozertsev and Sergey Mikhaylov took place in the framework of Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum on Thursday, June 6th, 2019.

“Cherkizovo” group takes the second place in Russia in production of pork. In the territory of Penza region the company is successfully implementing an investment project of new feeding sites building.

“Cherkizovo group and Penza region have been strategic partners for many years. We are implementing large investment projects resulting in new jobs in the region, growing tax base, and consumers receiving high-quality products”, emphasized the Head of the region in the course of the conversation.

“As a governor, I am very glad that you have decided to increase the number of feeding sites in the territory of Penza region at the second stage of the project to be implemented in 2020-2021”, he specified addressing the director general of “Cherkizovo” group.

Additionally the parties considered a possibility of implementing poultry farming projects in Penza region. The matter is production modernization at Vasilyevskay poultry factory. In particular, replacement of two obsolete slaughter lines of 8 and 6 thousand head per hour with a modern one with the capacity of 13 thousand head per hour. Investments in this project may constitute around 1 billion rubles.

Also the meeting participants brought up a subject of organizing export shipments of poultry meat of “Cherkizovo” Group” PJSC to China, as well as the holding’s inclusion into the list of Russian poultry meat exporters to China and EAEU countries.
