The task to intensify this work was given by the Governor.

From 2019 the maximum micro-lend for small and medium business from the foundation’s own funds has been raised to 5 million rubles. The interest rate from July 29th, 2019, has dropped 25 base points and constitutes 7,25%.

For 7 months of 2019 the foundation has given 43 micro-lends totaling 115 million rubles. Due to the increase of the foundation’s authorized capital stock, the volume of lending has increased by 53% in comparison to the same period last year. The greatest specific weight of micro-lends is production projects.

In the framework of the national project “Expansion of the access of small and medium business to financial support” the foundation is to give out another 85 micro-lends till the end of the year. This indicator is twice higher than the amount of transactions performed in the first half of the year.

Besides, “Poruchitel” foundation has provided 29 sureties to small and medium business to the amount of 361 million rubles from the beginning of 2019. This has allowed to attract bank credits to the total sum of 706 million rubles, that is 39% more than for the same period last year.

The spectrum of assets accepted by the foundation as a pledge has also increased. In particular, the foundation has started actively working with agricultural lands. In this case, agricultural enterprises in districts can receive support in the form of credit.

“All in all, we are moving in the right direction, we have some nice results. You should improve the quality of sureties given. The return of funds to the bank from whom you have pledged for is the main indicator of your work”, noted the Governor.

The head of the region instructed the accountable offices of the Government of Penza region to monitor all cases of defaults by business entities that had been given sureties by the foundation.

“In each particular case of non-paid credit and surety there must be carried out investigation involving law-enforcement agencies”, said the Head of the regional executive power.
