Penza Oblast among Country's Leaders in Average Daily Milk Yield

The RF Ministry of Agriculture summed up the work of the dairy cattle industry in the country. The Federal Agrarian Agency noted that the average milk yield from one cow per day in the country was 18.92 kg, which is 1.04 kg more than a year earlier.

As always, the RF Ministry of Agriculture has noted the country's leaders in the development of the industry. "The leaders among the regions in terms of the average daily milk yield from one cow are the Leningradskaya, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Tula, Vladimir, Kirovskaya, Kaluga, Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Ryazan, Moscow and Sverdlovskaya Regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republics of Karelia, Crimea and Udmurtia. These regions received more than 20 kg of milk per cow," the press service of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture reports.
