On 18 April 2018, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation of the joint-stock company with several Penza enterprises.
Concern Sozvezdie JSC was established on the basis of Voronezh Research Institute of Communications in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation. It focuses on preserving and strengthening the scientific and production capacities of Russian enterprises in radio electronic industry. The concern maintains the leading positions in the development and implementation of advanced communication technologies. It is involved in joint manufacture with foreign partners.
The products are exported to more than 25 neighbouring and other countries. Currently, the concern comprises 20 radio electronics enterprises from 10 regions of Russia.
During the meeting, the areas of cooperation between Concern Sozvezdie JSC and Penza high-tech enterprises were considered. According to Aleksey Bocharov, the company supplies manufacturers, including small and medium-sized businesses, with support in improving the production management systems, using advances of fundamental Russian science, entering the full production cycle, and promoting products for export.
“The Penza region has great potential for the accelerated development of knowledge-intensive industries. Nowadays the production base of our industrial enterprises allows us to address the major national priorities and compete in challenging economic conditions,” Ivan Belozertsev stressed.
“We have operating technology parks and industrial zones, as well as completed facilities for organising production. We are ready to encourage cooperation between Concern Sozvezdie JSC and Penza enterprises, which will be interested in such collaboration,” the governor noted.
In addition, the parties agreed on involving the representatives of scientific and production associations in radio electronics and appropriate higher educational institutions of the region in the process of intensifying business contacts.
