The next stage in modernizing the production of OAO ‘Milk processing plant ‘Penzensky’’ (‘Molkom’) has been started by the ‘Damate’ group of companies that intends to invest more than a billion roubles in a three-year project. The investments will be directed at the reconstruction and increasing the capacities of existing objects, as well as the introduction of new production lines.
‘Damate’ is financing the project with its own resources and the ‘Rosselkhozbank’ credit.
The planned changes include a modernized milk storage unit, higher output of children’s food and new production equipment. Major changes will involve milk bottling, production of cottage cheese and soft cheeses. Transport logistics of the plant will also undergo changes. Apart from that, ‘Damate’ group of companies plans to invest into new sales and storage units as well as a number of smaller constituent units and maintenance services.
‘Consumers of milk products become more discerning, and they look not only at the price but at the quality of the product as well. That is why we consider it necessary to invest into developing the company facilities now so as to meet the consumer demands tomorrow,’ said Rashid Khairov, the CEO of ‘Damate’.
