The sport family contest for public emloyees’ families was conducted on November 17th, 2018.
The contest was visited by more than 300 people: participants, supporters and guests.
In his welcoming speech Yury Denisov, deputy chairman of the regional government, stressed the role of such friendly games in strengthening family and work ties.
‘Let the families be healthy in all respects, and so are the relations between colleagues,’ he said.
The honoured guest of the friendly games was the bronze winner of 1996 Summer Olympics Evgeniya Bochkareva. She wished the contestants to preserve the fighting spirit.
39 families of the employees of 19 offices of government were participating in the contest. The games were conducted in three stages of physical fitness competitions and a quiz.
Parents and children competed separately but their results were added together.
All the participating families were awarded with souveniers, and the younger participants received tasty awards.
