The Head of the region gave a big interview to reporters of “Radio Russia” and “Vesti FM”.
The main topics of discussion were the results of Penza region’s socioeconomic development for half a year, first results of the national projects’ realization in the region, communication in social networks, youth policy and the course of the “garbage reform”.
“We have performed quite good, but we have things to strive for, - assessed the Governor noting that they only obtained preliminary results; the final data would be presented by the statistical service later. – The index of industrial growth of Penza region has grown in comparison with the last year. The regional indicators are 103,1%. They are higher than the average Russian ones – 102,4%. The meat production has increased significantly almost by 35%. It is the result of both implementation of large investment projects and development of farm enterprises”.
The Head of the region emphasized that the opening of high-tech productions and creation of new jobs are necessary conditions of exiting the demographic crisis. He also mentioned creation of a comfortable city environment to be an important task.
“We have to create favorable conditions to make the youth refrain from leaving their home town, to settle here, give birth to their children, - noted Ivan Belozertsev. – The main goal of national projects – improvement of people’s living standards, and we are working hard to achieve it”.
The Head of the region spoke about facilities that would be shortly built in Penza region in the framework of national projects: schools, kindergartens, roads, medical institutions.
The Governor stated that social networks were of great help regarding supervision of construction works, when partial citizens directly informed him about problems they faced.
“Social networks are a very efficient instrument of communication, I consider every single message I receive, despite the fact that most of problems Penza residents address with are in competence of the municipal authorities, - summarized Ivan Belozertsev. – But people write to me, and by all means I control the way their issues are settled”.
“I instantaneously redirect an issue to the head of the municipal entity, who is responsible for this work by duty. And he knows that the Governor is aware and monitoring this issue. Hence he already has a special attitude to this assignment”, noted Ivan Belozertsev.
