The results of the competition, which was held among Blood Service organisations from 85 regions of the country, were summed up in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
An independent quality assessment of the conditions created for donors was carried out as part of the development of the public control system.
"Creating favourable conditions for donations is one of the key factors to develop blood donation system and its components. Of course, creating such conditions is unthinkable without the support of the regional authorities," said Nikolai Daikhes, chairman of the Coordination Council for Blood Donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
He thanked the Penza Oblast government for the increased attention to the development of blood donation, which is more important than ever for preserving life and health of citizens in a difficult epidemiological situation.
Daikhes congratulated the staff of the Penza Regional Clinical Blood Centre on the well-deserved award and expressed hope for further work improvement.
