The head of the region spoke at the 10th Eurasian Forum in Verona on Friday, October 20, 2017.

The main theme of the forum, which is the largest platform for dialogue between Russian and European business in Europe, was formulated: "Greater Eurasia as a driving force in the modern international geopolitical and economic context." Prominent political and public figures, major businessmen and financiers, experts, diplomats, journalists from Russia, Italy, Austria, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Greece, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Serbia, the United States, France, Switzerland and Sweden took part in the discussion of topical economic problems.

The speech of the Governor of the Penza region was held within the framework of the session dedicated to the issues of "Interregional economic cooperation as the shortest and most effective way to economic development".

Addressing the participants of the international discussion, Ivan Belozertsev noted that for 10 years of existence the Eurasian Economic Forum proved its worth as a platform for discussing the problems of international integration of regions.

"The issues of financing investment projects, infrastructural and transport support, dissemination of information and digital technologies are found here," - the head of the subject of the Russian Federation specified.

During the speech, he presented the investment opportunities of the region, shared achievements in the field of industry and agriculture.
