The World Youth and Students Festival was held from October 14 to 22 in Sochi. Penza State Agrarian University was represented by the head of the inter-departmental biochemical laboratory Elena Zdorova, the master of the technological faculty Valery Kiselev, the master of engineering faculty Alexander Petrov, the master of the technological faculty Tatyana Semikova and the post-graduate student of the engineering faculty Anton Bochkaryov. A student of the agronomical faculty Anastasia Pateeva and student of the economic department Anastasia Fetisova participated in the work of the volunteer corps. 

All of them participated in sports events, got acquainted with the culture of different countries of the world. Russia became the hostess of the festival for the third time. This year the main events took place in Sochi Olympic Park. The total number of participants - about 25 thousand young people from more than 180 countries - are the best directions of students who have achieved success in science, creativity, sports and politics.
