The meeting of the Governmental Commission for Regional Development in the Russian Federation was held in Moscow on November 3, 2017.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Dmitry Kozak held a meeting of the commission. The participants of the coordinating meeting were the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov and the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin, representatives of the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, heads of federal agencies, and heads of several regions of the Russian Federation.

Participants discussed additional measures to ensure the balance of regional budgets in 2018, the terms of agreements granting subsidies to equalize the budgetary security of Russian regions. A special issue was devoted to the allocation of grants from the federal budget to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
