In total, about 1.5 thousand pictures have already been applied for the "Victory Card" international drawing contest.
Matvey Yefimov, 12 y.o., from Penza sent a drawing called Everything for Victory, and Svyatoslav Pravdin, 6 y.o., from the Penzensky district applied a drawing called And There will be May.
The organisers of the contest, the Victory Museum together with the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren and the Yunarmia, offered everyone to draw a greeting card by May 9. Both children and adults can take part in the creative competition. The best works wil be selected by the expert jury for a limited series of holiday cards.
Applications for the competition are accepted until April 10. The card can be made in any artistic technique (oil, watercolor, ink, pencils, crayons, gouache, collage, computer graphics). The jury will evaluate the creative idea, the originality and emotionality of the works, as well as the skill of execution. The creative competition will be held in five age categories: 6-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-17 years old, as well as among adults (over 18 years old).
All drawings will be shown at the online exhibition of the Victory Museum opening on April 20 on the Museum's official website. Until April 30, Internet users will be able to vote for any card they like. The five drawings with the highest number of votes in each age category will be the winners in the Audience Award category. In addition, until May 9, everyone will be able to send any drawing to their relatives, friends and colleagues with their own text congratulations on Victory Day via e-mail.
The results of the contest will be announced on May 12. All participants will receive certificates from the organisers, and the winners will receive sets of printed collectible cards and prizes from the contest partners.
