The village of Kromshchino in Penza District has become the next settlement to receive affordable and environmentally friendly fuel under the social gasification program. A 10-kilometer gas pipeline was laid to the village, creating the possibility of connecting 24 households. Fourteen applications have been received for free gas connection to property boundaries, and thirteen homes are already using the natural resource.
The head of the region noted that Penza Oblast continues to hold second place in Russia for implementation of the social gasification program. "Approximately 9,300 households have already been connected to gas networks in the region," Oleg Melnichenko informed. "This year, under the program, we plan to connect another 1,096 homes."
The Governor also emphasized the importance of gas for the population and economy of Penza Oblast. "The uninterrupted supply of gas to small villages makes people's lives easier and contributes to the development of our settlements," Oleg Melnichenko concluded.
