The governor considered the issue of construction of a plant for the production of wood particle board in the Penza region

Ivan Belozertsev held a working meeting with the CEO of company “Kronoshpan” Ardasher Kurbansho on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
Opening the business conversation, the head of the region noted that, according to well-known Russian and foreign investors, the Penza region is a successfully developing subject of the Russian Federation.
"Over 30 investment projects involving foreign capital, implemented in the field of agriculture and industry contribute to the progressive development of the economy of our region", -Ivan Belozertsevinformed the participants of the meeting .
"Favorable business conditions have been created in the Penza region - we have good tax solutions to support investment projects, the ability to provide production sites with engineering infrastructure. At present, enterprises with investments from France, Turkey, China, Singapore, Germany, Italy and other countries successfully work in our territory. Large-scale projects in the agro-industrial sphere are implemented by Russian investors - such well-known companies, for example, as “Damate” and “Cherkizovo”. We are interested in opening new industries, creating jobs, developing territories, " - the governor said.
During the business negotiations, the general director of the company “Kronoshpan” shared his plans for business development - the intention to build a woodworking plant for the production of wood particle boards for the furniture industry.
The subject of the discussion was an investment project with a capacity of up to 600,000 m3 of timber per year and a cost of 6 billion rubles, involving the modernization of existing forestry and timber processing infrastructure in the region, the creation of modern sites for integrated waste-free processing of wood, and the launch of 4 production lines for lamination.
The parties discussed the possibility of organizing a new production in the territory of industrial parks in Bessonovsky or Serdobsky districts. The general director of the company specified that the raw materials for the processing industry can serve as the most unpopular species of trees, such as, for example, aspen.
