First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Penza region Andrey Kulntsev held a meeting with representatives of the communications and information technology industry on Monday, December 18, 2017.
The meeting participants reviewed the results of the industry's work in the current year and discussed development plans for 2018.
There are more than 150 IT companies in the Penza region, they employ over a thousand people. The growth rates of tax transfers by IT companies to the regional budget exceed the average annual level by about three times.
Welcoming the audience, Andrey Kulntsev noted that Internet technologies penetrate all spheres of life of citizens, facilitating many previously labor-intensive processes.
"In 2017, work was carried out to modernize the regional portal of government services: the design of the regional portal was updated, and a quick access to services by category was organized. The modernization of the service performance system has been carried out in order to reduce the time for the provision of services and implementation of interdepartmental requests, " - the first deputy chairman of the regional government said.
He also said that the services for writing to kindergartens, schools and circles, social services, construction services have been translated into the electronic form and the permission to transport large-sized and dangerous goods and  a declaration on the use of forest resources can be obtained via the Internet, organized informing about cost of rendered medical services.
The work on the publication of the electronic diary in the Personal Area on the regional portal is completed and, if possible, the signing of applications by a qualified electronic signature and payment of state fees.
As of December 6, 197 490 people were registered in the Penza Region for the current year, which is 149% of the required value under the concluded agreement between the government of the Penza region and the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation.
