Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Veronika Skvortsova named the Penza region among the best regions where the help to the people who have suffered in road and transport incidents is competently and effectively organized.
This information was announced by the Minister at the All-Russian meeting on social development, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets on Friday, December 15, 2017.
According to Veronica Skvortsova, one of the priority areas of the health system is, of course, the fight against the deaths of citizens affected by road accidents. Since 2012, 1500 injured centers of the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd levels have been organized in the regions, which reduced the death rate by one third.
"Medical components are the time of arrival of emergency medical care and the routing of patients from the moment of the accident. These are the two criteria by which the efficiency of the regions in this area is assessed, " - she said.
The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation named the Penza region, Moscow, Samara, Tambov regions and the Kamchatka Krai, as the region, where the time of emergency medical aid is less than 20 minutes and the victims are transported correctly to the trauma centers of the 1st and 2nd levels depending on from the severity of their condition.
"In these regions, routing is very effective," - the head of the federal Ministry of Health said.
