The issues of creation and developing of a cluster of woodworking and wooden housing construction were discussed in the government of the Penza region on December 20, 2017.
At the meeting chaired by the Minister of Industry of the region Mikhail Torgashin, 10 organizations signed agreements on joining the cluster of woodworking and wooden housing construction.
During the meeting, the draft cluster development program was considered and a work plan for 2018 was formed.
It should also be noted that, with the active assistance of the Cluster Center, a cluster logo and catalog has been developed that includes information about enterprises engaged in the design, production and construction of wooden facilities, production of roofing and building materials in the region.
There is support and development of cluster initiatives in the Penza region. At the present time, there are state support for 5 clusters: the Union of Penza Confectioners, Security, Biomed, IT Cluster, Legprom. A cluster of woodworking and wooden housing construction is being created in the Penza region at the initiative of the Governor.
