On the feast day, the territorial subdivisions of the Civil Registry Office for the Penza region prepared the following events:

– The couples who have lived in peace and quiet for many years will be congratulated;
– Special wedding ceremonies will be arranged for the newlyweds who will start a family on 6 and 7 July;
– The ceremonies of christening and honouring large families will be solemnised.

This All-Russian holiday is aimed at strengthening families, cultivating spiritual and moral principles in the youth and promoting family values. The officials from the Civil Registry Office for the Penza region traditionally take part in the celebrations. This year the regional event will be held in the Organ Hall of the Penza Regional Philharmonic Hall (215 Suvorova Str., Penza) at 12:00 on 6 July 2018.
