The delegation of the Penza region and the Cholak family, who are the runners-up of the regional festive contest “Successful Family 2018”, attended the 6th All-Chuvash festival Akatuy, which took place in the Chuvash Republic on 24 June 2018.

The guests participated in the cultural programme of the festival and in the activities of the Great Chuvash Council. They visited the museum of national Chuvash embroidery. As part of the sightseeing tour they explored the city of Cheboksary.

 The Cholak family was put on the air on the national republican radio station, during which they told about the contest “Successful Family 2018” held in the Penza region. The creative Chuvash team “Asamat”, headed by Tatyany Cholak’s mother, took part in the festive programme.

 “We are grateful for the opportunity to visit my historic homeland, where I was born and grew up. Today we witnessed not only the national holiday, but also reunited with the family and met with relatives and friends,” Aleksandr Cholak, head of the family, stressed.

 At the initiative of Governor Ivan Belozertsev, the Government of the Penza region arranged the involvement of the runners-up of the regional festive contest “Successful Family 2018” in the 6th All-Chuvash festival Akatuy.
