A solemn rally in the run "From East to West of Russia - with pride in the past, with responsibility for the present, with confidence in the future" will be held in Penza at the Monument of Military and Labor Glory on August 7 at 16.00.
The international combined auto race dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the service of the Fatherland VSAAAN of Russia started on July 5 in Vladivostok. Its route passes through the regions of the Russian Federation and will end in Minsk of the Republic of Belarus.
The goal of the international run is to popularize the Voluntary society of assistance to the army of aviation and navy of Russia, first of all, to organize military-patriotic work, as well as to unite all public organizations that carry out military-patriotic activities.
Representatives of three regions - the Penza and Nizhny Novgorod regions and the Republic of Mordovia will take part in the solemn meeting in Penza.
During the event, the land will be taken from the Monument of Military and Labor Glory. So-called shells with earth from the memorable places of each region will be delivered to the hero city of Sevastopol. Thus, the organizers symbolically pass the baton from the East to the West of Russia.
