The governor examined the construction site of fattening pig breeding complex in the Penza region on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Recall that in the period from 2015 to 2017, the head of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev and the founder of the PJSC "Cherkizovo Group" Igor Babaev held a number of working meetings, as a result, an agreement was reached on the implementation of investment projects in the sphere of agro-industrial complex in the territory of the Penza region.
At present, the investor has started construction of the first stage of the pig complex, the signing of a bilateral investment agreement between the Government of the Penza region and PJSC Cherkizovo Group is being prepared. The implementation of the investment project involves the construction in the Penza region of a complex with a complete production cycle and two fattening farms for 40,000 heads per year each.
Igor Babayev informed the head of the subject of the Federation about plans to launch facilities in the first quarter of 2018.
"The process is on, we are ready to work in full force, keeping the pace. I want to thank the leadership of the Penza region for support - this is an incentive to develop production, "- he stated.
"The implementation of this project is the execution of President Vladimir Putin's mandate to ensure food security on the Penza land,"- Ivan Belozertsev said. "We create conditions for not only ensuring the need of our citizens, but also exporting products to other states."
"It is very important that the management of the Cherkizovo Group decided to implement this project in our region, where it is possible to develop livestock production, providing the livestock with a fodder base. For the region, these are jobs, a taxable base, and also a guarantee of the workload of the Penza meat-packing plant, "- the governor explained.
On the territory of the Penza region, the Cherkizovo GC plans to reconstruct the Vasilievskaya poultry factory within the next two years, which will touch the meat and bone meal processing plant in the part of replacing obsolete equipment.
At the same time, the plans to reconstruct the Penza meat processing plant with an emphasis on the reconstruction of the slaughter shop. It is planned to install modern equipment that will significantly increase labor productivity, re-equipment of the slaughter line and deboning of sows, and the reconstruction of the refrigerator.
The final stage will be the repair of production facilities and plant management, landscaping. The project should be implemented in 2018-2020 without stopping production.
