The governor informed the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District and the Minister of Finance of the country about the work of the financial block of the regional government.
"All the requirements of the agreement concluded between the Penza region and the Ministry are observed. Last year, we were in the "green zone", - said Ivan Belozertsev.
The head of the region noted that work on increasing revenues to the regional budget is carried out in several directions.
"This provided an opportunity to attract additional funds to the budget. In 2016, we received 6 billion 380 million rubles plus, in the first half of 2017 worked for 1.8 billion more compared to the previous "high" year, " - the governor stressed.
Ivan Belozertsev stressed that one of the main tasks is the payment of the state debt of the Penza region, which over the past two years has been significantly reduced.

"I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the regions need to provide for the full year the allocation of funds for the implementation of the May Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation. We will provide the necessary support from the federal center. The President's decision also provides for the possibility of restructuring loans with the allocation of funds to socially important events, to support the economy of the regions. The relevant agreement of the leadership of the Penza region and the Ministry of Finance should be signed this year in order to start implementing the projects necessary for the development in the next year, " - he added.
Ivan Belozertsev said that the regional finance ministry has already started developing the necessary documentation.
