The delegation of the Penza region, headed by the governor of the region Ivan Belozertsev, takes part in the 19th Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn-2017". Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev and head of the regional agrarian department Andrei Burlakov took part in the solemn ceremony of opening the main agroforum of the country.
According to the press service of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, the event was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev.
Opening the exhibition, Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the guests and participants of the exhibition on the upcoming Day of the employee of the agricultural and processing industry. According to tradition, on the eve of the holiday, the Prime Minister presented state awards and honorary titles to the best workers of the industry.
During the exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2017" the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation visited the stand of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as well as the exposition of the regional departments of the agro-industrial complex and agricultural producers. Dmitry Medvedev presented major investment projects in the field of agriculture, projects for the development of rural areas, as well as innovative solutions in the agro-industrial complex.
The Penza region is the annual participant of the Russian agro-action "Golden Autumn". Annually the stand of the region demonstrates the development and potential of the Penza agro-industry. This year the region at its stand presented a number of large investment projects successfully implemented in the region in the areas of poultry, dairy cattle, pig production.
