On June 3, Izhevsk central square hosted performances of soloists and folk and ethnic ensembles from country's different regions, including Yaksarochka (conducted by Olga Zotkina) and Umarina (conducted by Anatoly Suslov), a master class on traditional Udmurt dance, as well as an exhibition and sale of folk crafts.
Note that the concert programme and the fair became part of the All-Russian Forum of Finno-Ugric Peoples, which takes place in Izhevsk on June 3-4. It brought together representatives from more than 30 regions of the country to discuss the preservation and development of the languages and cultural heritage of the Finno-Ugric peoples.
