On September 9, the Dr. Dapertutto Theatre will open its 19th theatrical season with the play The Adventures of Chichikov, based on Mikhail Bulgakov's dramatisation of Gogol's immortal work Dead Souls.
The Adventures of Chichikov (2008) is one of the best Natalia Kugel's stagings: the play fascinated the audience and won awards at theatre festivals.
In 2021, in tribute to the artistic director the play has been staged again and now occupies a worthy place in the theatre's repertoire.
The cast is sure that in the new season it will present the audience not only their favorite plays, but also new ones.
