The A.N. Radishchev State Museum received the "Golden Diploma" of the 13th International Slavic Literary Forum "Zolotoy Vityaz" in the nomination "Museums, Parks, and Estates". Two leading projects of the museum were presented to the jury – "Maslenitsa in Radishevo" and "Tikhvin Fair" as examples of the preservation and development of folk traditions.

Three museums located on the territory of the Penza Oblast were among the ten finalists of the nomination: the Lermontov State Museum-Reserve "Tarkhany" won "Zolotoy Vityaz", the State Museum of A.N. Radishchev and the Museum of O.V. Klyuchevsky won "Zolotoy Diploma". The award ceremony took place on October 15, 2022 in Moscow at the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church. Electronic diplomas were sent to the laureates. The award will be demonstrated in the A.N. Radishchev Museum.

In 2021 the "Zolotoy Diploma" of the XII International Slavic Literary Forum was awarded to the A. I. Kuprin Museum, a branch of the Association of State Literary and Memorial Museums of the Penza Oblast.
The international forum "Zolotoy Vityaz" unites artists who work for "moral ideals and the elevation of the human soul." The purpose of the literary section of the forum is to preserve and maintain the traditions of Russian classical literature, popularize modern literature, strengthen cultural ties between writers, support the creativity of writers in Russian regions, promote the creativity of foreign writers writing in Russian, identify talents among young people, and attract the attention of publishing houses and literary magazines.

More details about the recognition of the activities of the A.N. Radishchev Museum for the preservation of cultural heritage and popularization of the name of Alexander Radishchev will be covered on the TV channel "Russia". The "Open Book" program will be dedicated to the Penza museums’ awards.
