During his visit to the Penza Oblast, First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kamol Davronov met with Deputy Head of the regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism Ildar Mavlyudov and tour operators of the region.
The meeting took place at the Philharmonic Hall. The main topic of discussion was the interaction of the parties in the field of development of tourism.
The guest of the Penza Oblast presented the tourism potential of his country.
"Uzbekistan is open to foreign tourists. In particular, visa-free entry has been established for citizens from 93 countries, 70 new tourist routes have been opened, and 6 private airlines have started operating," Kamol Davronov said.
One can go from Penza to Uzbekistan by train from Volgograd and by plane from Samara. Tour operators were also interested in issues of cooperation with Uzbek colleagues, which contributes to the organization of travel for Penza tourists. Kamol Davronov noted Uzbekistan's interest in establishing comprehensive contacts.
The delegation of Uzbekistan visited the concert and organ halls of the Philharmonic. Organist Sofya Semyanova performed famous Bach compositions for the guests. They also visited the Governor's House of the Penza Art Gallery.
