The Penza Oblast attracted for specialists of literary museums in Russia for an event.
In the next three days, the Association of State Literary and Memorial Museums of the Penza Oblast and the State Lermontov Museum "Tarkhany" will host events of the international forum, the main theme of which is the legacy of A. S. Pushkin and M. Y. Lermontov in the museum work.
At the opening ceremony of the forum, the participants were welcomed by Larisa Ryabikhina, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Penza Oblast, Dmitry Bak, Co – Chairman of the Board of the Association of Literary Museums and Director of the V. I. Dahl State Museum of Fine Arts, Evgeny Bogatyrev, Director of the Pushkin State Museum, Natalia Poleva, Director of the Association of State Literary and Memorial Museums of the Penza Oblast, and Director of the Tarkhany State Museum, Yulia Pechnikova.
"The Penza region is rich in cultural heritage: there are points of attraction that we plan to show our colleagues, so that the sights become known to guests from other regions of Russia, " said Larisa Ryabikhina.
Dmitry Bak spoke about the activities of the Association of Literary Museums, which includes 92 museums in Russia. The main method of attracting visitors to the museum is to understand how rich and diverse the museum environment is.
Evgeny Bogatyrev noted that the main value of the Penza Oblast is its leadership in the association of literary museums.
The official opening of the forum was followed by a plenary session. The Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Oblast, heads and representatives of the leading Pushkin museums of the country, including the All-Russian Pushkin Museum (St. Petersburg), the State Pushkin Museum (Moscow), the Museum of the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg), the A. S. Pushkin Museum-Reserve presented their reports. Pushkin Museum " Mikhailovskoe "(Pskov Oblast), Boldino State Literary Memorial and Natural Museum of A. S.
