Under the direction of Sergei Kazakov, the company presented its productions to residents and visitors of Samarkand and Bukhara. The cultural mission was organized on the initiative and with the support of Governor Oleg Melnichenko.
The Samarkand Regional Russian Drama Theater hosted performances of "The Dawns Here Are Quiet..." based on Boris Vasilyev's novella and the children's production "The Princess and the Pea." At the Bukhara Regional Musical Drama Theater, the Penza troupe presented the composition "Together We Are Strong."
"Engaging with such a hospitable and welcoming audience has been an unforgettable experience for us. We believe these encounters will lay the foundation for new joint creative projects and knowledge exchange, strengthening the friendship between the peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan," shared Sergei Kazakov, Artistic Director of the Penza Regional Drama Theater named after A.V. Lunacharsky, reflecting on the tour's outcomes.
