The issue was discussed at a work meeting in the Government of Penza region on Monday, March 18th, 2019.

“The President of the Russian Federation has directed us to successfully implement national projects, and we have to make the maximum effort. Therefore, the Government, ministries and departments of Penza region must brisk up their work, - emphasized the Governor. – It is required to constantly analyze the situation and depending on its changes to define objectives more precisely, to adjust the programs, to arrange business meetings, workshops and trainings. We need it to improve the performance, to reach prospected results”.

The Head of the region added that he was waiting for the regional cabinet of ministers to come up with propositions on “more aggressive and systemic work”. In particular, he proposed to single out defense enterprises producing consumer goods among other things into a separate industrial cluster.

“We face an objective to considerably increase the export component in several sectors, - summarized Ivan Belozertsev. – Let us involve the Association of Industrialists of Penza region into the discussion on the subject matter and jointly find the optimal solution”.
