The Governor directed regional commodity producers to actively cooperate with trade missions of the Russian Federation and trading houses of the Russian Export Center in foreign countries. This objective was brought up in his investment message on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019.

The Penza regional foreign trade turnover in 2018 totaled around 570 billion USD exceeding the results of the previous year by 13,6%. The increase of the export share constituted 21% or 298,5 million USD in money terms.

The export of machine building products totaled 33% (98,3 million USD), the export of commodities and raw materials constituted 29,5% of the regional export (88 million USD).

“This year in the framework of the “International cooperation and export” national project we have prepared to implement the “Regional export standard 2.0” in the territory of the region, - noted the Head of the region. – One of its features will be the integration of the Center of Export Support into the National System of Export Promotion”.

“This will make it possible to effectively cooperate with trade missions of the Russian Federation and trading houses of the Russian Export Center in foreign countries. Promoting the region both abroad and throughout the Russian Federation is a strategic objective” – summarized Ivan Belozertsev.
