The meeting took place during Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum on Thursday, June 6th, 2019.
The head of Penza region reminded that in the territory of Serdobsk Machine Building Factory there was being constructed an industrial park. A controlling company has been established – “Serdobsk Industrial Park “Master” OJSC. In order to build the industrial park two plots of land were allocated with the total area of 13,2 ha. The total area of three production facilities of the industrial park under construction is 58 thousand 290 square meters.
“The project’s initiator – Serdobsk Machine Building Factory – has prepared and submitted an application and a set of documents to the Government of Penza region to confer a status of an industrial park of Penza region on this territory. We are planning to finish this park shortly in the upcoming months”, said Ivan Belozertsev.
The parties considered a possibility of additionally supplying the production capacities of the town-forming enterprise of Serdobsk with equipment for the purposes of companies affiliated with “KAMAZ” PJSC and transferring a part of production to unoccupied premises of “SMBF” JSC.
According to SMBF, the project documentation on reconstruction of the main building of “Master” industrial park is expected to be completed in June. The preliminary cost of the reconstruction is 631,3 million rubles from budgetary and off-budget funding sources.
“KAMAZ” PJSC owns 45% of the Russian market of freight vehicles. The group of companies also includes “Master” industrial parks in Naberezhnye Chelny, Stavropol and Dimitrovgrad in Ulyanovsk region, established with support of regional governments. “KAMAZ” orders products of industrial park residents; provides design and technological documents; supplies workpieces, offers services of the “KAMAZ” product distribution network.
