The meeting of Ivan Belozertsev and Si Zefu took place in the framework of Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum on Thursday, June 6th, 2019.

The Head of the region noted that in the recent years the relations between Russia and China had become significantly more profound influencing the development of cooperation between regions of these countries. Beijing Zhongnengda Electrical Engineering company – a partner of Harbin Electric Corporation - is successfully operating in Penza region.

“We have a number of investment projects under way: construction of a mushroom growing facility and a plant for crop processing, - stated the Governor. – The company management is planning to expand the agricultural machinery fleet. We would very much like, if their supplier was Harbin Electric Corporation - one of the largest distributors in China capable of guaranteeing the quality of equipment”.

Ivan Belozertsev offered Si Zefu to consider Penza region as a place for organizing joint works in poultry meat processing, gas-generating plants manufacturing, power plants reconstruction, as well as for opening agricultural equipment maintenance services.

“I am confident that this cooperation, to which I promise to ensure comprehensive support by the Government of Penza region, will be beneficial for all parties involved”, summarized the Head of the region.
