Ivan Belozertsev made several own suggestions on this issue during an operational meeting in the regional government on Monday, August 5th, 2019. 

He reminded that in Kuznetsk there had been opened the largest and most up-to-date foam rubber factory in Europe. The investments constitute around 2 billion rubles. In 2020, it is planned to launch another venture – mattress production. Investments amount over 1,5 billion rubles. 250 new jobs is being created. The factory is equipped with high-productive lines by global companies.

“What is truly important is creation of new jobs and returning of those people who left to work in Moscow back to the region. They are coming back to their homeland, to their families. Therefore, it is not just an economic goal, but also a social one”, highlighted Ivan Belozertsev.

“The goal of the Government of Penza region, of municipalities is to work on further attraction of investors, to contribute to opening of new enterprises and creating of new jobs”, he specified.

The Governor instructed to hold the next meeting of the Association of Regional Industrialists on the premises of the factory in Kuznetsk, to ensure the implementation of the “road map” on fulfilling the agreements with the company regarding the provision of the earlier-mentioned preferences.

Also, the Head of the Federation’s subject set a task to organize new productions allied with the foam rubber factory recently opened in Kuznetsk.

“The fact that the investor built a factory with our support is great, but that was yesterday. Today we must think about creating allied productions. Probably, it will be something from the field of textile, clothing manufacture. We should establish joint ventures with foreign partners”, explained Ivan Belozertsev.

“Having high-quality foam rubber we can produce a lot of things – starting from dish-washing sponges, furniture to sport goods, for example, wrestling mats which are in demand today. Or using the foam rubber for car seats production. We can produce all that”, he instructed having called on to intensify this activity.

Besides, the Head of Penza region ordered to organize training and professional development of the corresponding personnel for future allied productions.
