The ceremony was held on the new farm premises in the village of Znamenka of the above mention district on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019.
The modern poultry farm allows for 75 thousand laying hens with the total production volume of 18 million eggs per year. The products of the Kuzyakovs’ family farm are intended to supply “Vanyushkiny sladosti” confectionary factory.Addressing the participants of the solemn launch of the agricultural enterprise, the Head of the regional executive power noted that this event was of great importance not just for the economy and social sphere of Kamenka district, but for the region in general.
“When large companies invest in enterprise establishment, it is splendid, but when the construction is funded by small and medium business, it is particularly great”, emphasized Ivan Belozertsev.
“It is especially important for us to have a higher share of small and medium business in the Penza’s regional gross product”, he explained.
The Head of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation thanked the Kuzyakov family for the initiative in the agricultural business, expressed confidence in their production prospectivity.
The poultry farm project was implemented with the state support from the Ministry of Agriculture of Penza region. The total volume of investments totaled 100 million rubles. Those included the project initiator’s own funds together with a farming development grant. The total state support share from the moment of the facility construction constituted 27 million rubles.
The poultry factory includes a cage keeping block, a replacement flock block, a mixed fodder block, a warehouse, and an administration building. The total area is 5 thousand square meters.
After the official ceremony, the guests visited the factory blocks, viewed an egg collecting station and took part in the launch of a new line.
The daily output of the fodder block is 25 tons. At the present time, there are 80 thousand chicks on the fattening section.
Thus, the Kuzyakovs’ farm features a full production cycle – from fostering and fodder preparation to the output of confectionery products.
In general, in Penza region, the cattle and poultry production at farms of all types for 8 months of the current year has constituted almost 245 thousand tons. In terms of the said indicator, the region is the second-best in the Volga Federal District. This result is 26% higher than the last year’s one. At the end of the year, the volume of cattle and poultry is expected to be 382 thousand tons, the growth by 2018 will constitute 119%.
