The issue of labor productivity improvement and range expansion for products manufactured in Penza region was discussed at a meeting of the Government of Penza region on Monday, October 28th, 2019.

“A week ago the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin held a meeting devoted to financial improvement of the defense-industrial complex, stated Ivan Belozertsev. – It was said that the peak of armament shipment within the state defense order is close to conclusion. Therefore, the defense industrial enterprises have to embark on the production of high-tech civil goods competitive in the world market”.

The Head of the region pointed out that several enterprises in Penza region successfully solved this problem and cited “EVT” production association as an example. He suggested to organize an educational seminar on the premises of this factory.

“The enterprise management have a lot to share with their colleagues, - highlighted the Governor. – I think it will be useful to organize a visit to this production association for the leaders in this area to share information, to show the results they have achieved for the last three years”.

“The executives of other enterprises of Penza will be interested to learn how to solve the problem of reorientation to the civil product market and to work with foreign partners from China, South Korea, and European countries”, he summarized.
