On Monday, October 28th, 2019, the Government summed up the preliminary results of the socioeconomic development of Penza region.
For 9 months of the current year, the agricultural companies have produced to the amount of 83,8 billion rubles that is 17,9% higher than for the same period last year.
From the beginning of the year, 276,8 thousand tons of cattle and poultry have been produced for slaughter, which is 22,3% more than for 9 months of the last year. There has been collected more sunflower and sugar beet making Penza region the VFD leader.
“The region delivers, we have every reason to count on additional support from the federal center”, appealed the Governor to intensify interaction within the program “Sustainable development of rural area”.
The region is also the leader in finishing apartment block construction. From the beginning of the year, the developers handed in 556 thousand square meters of the housing stock, which is 156,8 % higher than last year.
