On November 18th-20th, “Yablochkov” innovative technological technopark hosted an educational accelerative event for future leaders of research technological projects.
Over 50 young scientists, innovators and start-up teams (including ones created at such regional enterprises as “Radiozavod” JSC, “RPC “Krug” LLC, “RPE “Rubin” JSC, “INKOM” group of companies, “MedIntell” LLC, and others) participated in a three-day practice-focused intensive program. The speakers were active businessmen having a massive experience in working with leading Russian and international venture funds, development institutions, sponsor associations and corporations.
With the help of experts from YellowRockets, leaders of youth profit-oriented research projects supported by the Innovation Assistance Fund within the “UMNIK” program learned about start-up business models, obtained the tools for target consumer examination and the skills in creating proper presentations.
Besides, the projects submitted to the “UMNIK” program went through a crush test, and all innovators took part in the “Mentoring as a form of business acceleration” session.
In the course of the event, Maxim Zakharov, deputy head of the Office of innovation policy of the Ministry of Industry of Penza region, and Sergey Matyukin, deputy director general of the Cluster Development Center, told the participants about the support measures for young innovators, and Dmitry Bezrukov, deputy director general of “ROMET” LLC (accredited in the Multiaccess Center of Skolkovo technopark), and Dmitry Smirnov, engineering director of “INKOM” group of companies, spoke about companies’ success cases.
